Planetary Poet

20 Sep

Planetary poet-

Earthly vessel,

That is what I am;

Brought forth from dust

And to dust I shall return;

That I know…

Born in sin,

Bred in sin,

Forgiven of my sin.

Planetary poet,

Known before birth,

Loved by Love Himself,

Called and ordained…

Taught to talk,

Led to read,

Wrought to write,

Spared to speak.

Planetary poet-

In the world but not of it,

Made alive, made well to speak

Speak by works-not merely words

Speak peace in war

Speak life in death

Speak truth in absurdity

Speak sanctity over perfection

Speak sanity in sin’s gravity

Speak holiness in the brevity

That is Christ and Him made known

Planetary poet-

Rendering rhymes,

Heaven’s word,

With depth divine,

In God’s design

To God’s own world.
